Plasson valves are a product category in the Plasson range that contains valves of all kinds and designed for a variety of purposes. Plasson valves are used primarily to allow the control of water flowing through MDPE pipes or drainage system for example, including both potable and non-potable water. Plasson valves include both stop taps and double check valves designed for above and below ground use, giving you a variety of options when it comes to your installation. Plasson Valves At The Drainage Shop
One of the main features of the Plasson valves range is stop taps, which are valves that allow the water supply to a system to be shut off from a single point – whether that’s the supply to a small closed system such as an irrigation tank or grey water collection tank, or a whole house. The Plasson valves range features both plastic stop taps and brass stop taps depending on the needs of your system, with both variants designed to be used both indoors and outdoors. Both variants are WRAS approved, meaning that they can be used to carry potable water, and both are designed to be tough and durable enough to withstand constant use under and above ground in adverse weather conditions. The plastic variant uses heavy duty, high quality plastic that won’t rot, warp or degrade and is easy to clean and maintain, while the brass universal stop tap is made from toughened dezincification resistant metal that is designed to resist corrosion even when wet. Alongside these products we also stock Double Check Valves and Non-WRAS Double Check Valves which are designed to stop reverse siphoning that could contaminate a clean water supply.
Both variants of Plasson valves are designed for universal fittings, meaning they can connect to pipes of all different materials such as metal and plastic, and come in several different sizes to make your installation easier. The plastic stop tap range come in 20mm, 25mm and 32mm versions while the brass range comes in 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 50mm and 60mm versions. The Double Check Valve range comes in all sizes between ½ ” x ½ ” and 2” x 2”, while there are two versions of the product designed for potable and non-potable water.

The quick-coupler valve is designed to allow you to easily access water within the system, such as in an sprinkler or irrigation system, without having to turn the main stop tap on or off. The pressure gauge is a line-in part that remains part of the system and allows you to continuously monitor water pressure for safety or performance maintenance.
